Parts of Himachal lashed by showers, min temp falls

The state capital received 31.5 mm of rains followed by Chelsea 30 mm, Jubberhatti 11 mm, Dharamsala 6.3 mm, Karsog 6 mm, Kufri 4 mm, Manali 3.2 mm and Jogindernagar and Bajaura 3 mm each.

The day temperature rose from 26.5 to 27.9 deg C in Shimla, which received 31.5 mm of rains while Dharamsala was cool at 34.2 deg C against 36.8 deg C yesterday.

The maximum temperature rose from 34 deg C to 38.2 deg C at Sundernagar while Solan, Dharamsala and Bhuntar recorded a high of 34.2 deg C, 34.5 deegree and 35.8 deg C respectively, one to two deg C below normal.

 

The minimum temperature dropped to 17.1 deg C at Shimla while Una was hottest during the night with a low of 25.3 deg C, followed by Mandi 25.1 deg C, Dharamshala 2.6 deg C and Nahan 22.7.

Una was hottest in the region with maximum temperature at 41.4 deg C, an increase of 1.8 deg C since yesterday while Keylong, Kalpa and Manali were cool with minimum temperatures at 8.8 deg C, 11.5 deg C and 12 deg C celsius respectively.
