Parts of Himachal Pradesh receives moderate rainfall

Parts of Himachal Pradesh today received moderate rainfall with the sky remaining overcast and people reeling under sultry heat.

Dharamshala, Sunnibhajji, Baijnath, Rohroo, Nainadevi and Bharmaur received 84 mm, 26 mm, 17 mm, 13 mm and 12 mm rainfall respectively, the MeT Department said.

The sky remained overcast andpeople reeled under sultry heat as Una recorded a high of 35.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 34.6 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 32.6 degrees Celsius, Nahan 29.6 degrees Celsius and Shimla 24.2 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has predicted heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places across the state tomorrow and the day after.
