Parts of HP receive sporadic rains, day temp rises marginally

Sporadic rains occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and day temperatures rose marginally in the state while people in lower hills reeled under sultry heat.

The mercury rose to 36 degrees Celsius at Una. In Sundernagar and Bhuntar the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius and 32.6 degrees Celsius respectively. Shimla recorded a high of 25.2 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

The weatherman has predicted dry weather in the higher hills for the next six days and rains and thunderstorm in the mid hills from September 21 to 23.
