Many places of Uttar Pradesh today received light to moderate rains and thundershowers.
Kunda received 28 cm rains, followed by Fursatganj 24 cm, Rae Bareli 19 cm, Karchana 10 cm, Lucknow and Raniganj 9 cm each, Sandila and Orai 8 cm each, Allahabad, Baberu, Sikandarabad and Hamirpur 7 cm each and Mathura 6 cm, the MeT department said.
The weatherman has forecast rain or thundershower at many places over eastern parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
