A day after senior leader Sushma Swaraj went public with her displeasure over the induction of BSR chief B Sreeramalu in the party, BJP today said the party stands united and is working together to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country.

"I have not seen the tweet. The party is together and we are in election mode and there is a revolution going on against bad governance of Congress and corruption... People in large number are getting involved in this battle for good governance."

"There may be some objections but the party is together and moving forward and working together to hoist the flag in the battle of good governance and make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister," said BJP spokesperon Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

Congress, however, took potshots at BJP while the Left said the episode has exposed BJP's "hypocrisy".

"It shows the height of hypocrisy in BJP. They will have to explain...These questions are not posed by others but their own leaders. They must answer to Sushma Swaraj," D Raja of CPI said.

"BJP cannot claim that it is some kind of party with difference. They cannot claim that it is a party with lot of values. BJP is a party with double-speak and standards. What Sushma Swaraj has said exposes the hypocrisy of BJP," he said.

Congress spokesperson Raj Babbar said RSS and senior BJP leaders themselves were saying that BJP no longer remains the party it was earlier and has become a one-man party.

"A prominent BJP leader had given an interview a few days back saying the party is not what it used to be. One week back, L K Advani also said that it has become a one-man party. Even RSS has started saying that this NaMo should be stopped. What can one say?," Babbar said.

Venting her grouse over entry of Sreeramalu in BJP, senior leader Sushma Swaraj had said he was taken in despite her "stiff opposition".
