The passengers, hailing from Tiruchirapalli and Thanjavur districts in Tamil Nadu, had hidden the gold, valued at Rs 30 lakh, in their inner-wear, the sources said.
As they moved in a suspicious manner, customs officials checked them and found the precious metal.
