Polling for Patkura assembly constituency in Odisha, which was adjourned following the death of BJD candidate, will be held on May 19.
An EC notification said Wednesday that the last date of filing of nomination is May 1, while scrutiny of the papers will be held on the following day.
The last date of withdrawal of candidature is May 4, the notification said.
The EC has fixed May 27 before which the election process should be completed.
Election to the Patkura assembly seat, under Kendrapara Lok Sabha constituency, was scheduled to be held in the fourth phase on April 29, but polling was adjourned following the death of the BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agarwal on April 20.
