Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in Bihar in the past 24 hours, while weather in other parts of the state remained mainly dry.
The Met department today forecast partly cloudy sky for Patna while Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea are expected to witness generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm tomorrow.
Gaya recorded a maximum temperature at 36.9 deg C, followed by Patna at 31.3 deg C, Bhagalpur at 28.8 deg C and Purnea at 25.6 deg C, the Met office said.

Dehri in Rohtas district registered the highest maximum temperature of Bihar at 42 deg C.
Purnea recorded the highest rainfall of 16.6 mm in the state, while Bhagalpur registered 6.4 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, the Met office said in a bulletin.
