Bihar today witnessed sultry weather conditions due to light rains across the state with the Met department predicting rains for tomorrow.
The Met department has forecast a generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunders in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur, while Purnea is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with light rain.
The state today received light to moderate rainfall in many parts, the Met office said, adding that heavy rains occurred at one or two places in northwest Bihar.

Bhagalpur recorded 0.2 mm of rains today, while Gaya recorded 26.8 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded trace rainfall, the Met office said.
The maximum temperature recorded at Patna was 35 degree Celsius, Gaya and Bhagalpur recorded maximum temperatures of 34.4 degree Celsius and 34.0 degree Celsius respectively. Purnea registered 33.0 degree Celsius.
The maximum humidity level in the morning ranged between 77 to 86 per cent in various major cities including Patna.
