Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced two major projects worth Rs 660 crore for the overall development of the Odisha's steel city of Rourkela.
"We are committed to make Rourkela a model city and in that regard work on a Rs 400 crores underground sewerage system will begin soon," Patnaik told a public meeting here.
The first tender of the project has been completed.

The chief minister inagurated a number of projects in Sundargarh district, including a bridge over Koel river built at a cost of over Rs 12 crore. He also distributed cheques to construction workers and kendu leaf workers.
