Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday condemned the serial blasts in Sri Lanka that killed 215 people, and said such "dastardly acts" have no place in civilised societies.
"Strongly condemn the gruesome terror attacks in #Colombo, Sri Lanka. Such dastardly acts on peaceful congregations and citizens have no place in civilised societies," Patnaik said in a twitter post.
"My sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wish strength to the government and people of #SriLanka," he added.
A string of eight powerful blasts, including suicide attacks, struck churches and luxury hotels frequented by foreigners in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, killing 215 people, including three Indians.
