Patnaik inagurates a new police station at Dhauli

To ensure safety of tourists visiting Dhauli, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inagurated a new police station there today.

The Dhauli Police Station has been setup after carving out some areas earlier under Lingaraj police station jurisdiction, police sources said.

Shishupalagada, Dhauli, Itipur and Tikarapada gram panchayats will be under the jurisdiction of the newly created Dhauli police station.

One inspector, two sub-inspectors, two assistant sub-inspectors, one havildar, 10 constables and one driver have been appointed for it, the sources said

With the new police station at Dhauli, the total number of police stations in the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police area reached 43.
