Patnaik indisposed, cancels tours programmes for next two-days

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is indisposed, officials said Thursday.

According to the sources in the Chief Minister's Office, Patnaik has cancelled all his tour programmes for next two days as he is indisposed.

"However, the chief minister will attend office in the state secretariat," an official said adding that his tours outside the state capital have been cancelled.

Patnaik has cold and fever after his return from Chennai last night, the official said.

During the morning hours, Patnaik attended office and sanctioned projects worth Rs 46.78 crore for 10 blocks spread over nine districts under Ama Gaon Ama Bikas programme.

So far Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 1034.63 crore under Ama Gaon Ama Bikas programme meant for developmental works in rural pockets of the state.
