Patnaites to celebrate New Year in dense fog condition

Residents of Patna will have to celebrate new year's day tomorrow in dense fog condition, according to the MeT office's forecast.

The state weather office has forecast dense fog in capital Patna tomorrow.

The MeT office bulletin said minimum temperature in Patna was recorded at 12.1 degrees Celsius today while the maximum temperature was 17.5 degrees Celsius.

The temple town of Gaya was the coldest place in Bihar today with minimum temperature plummeting to 10.5 degrees Celsius today. Maximum temperature in Gaya was 17.6 degrees Celsius.

Elsewhere, Bhagalpur registered minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius and maximum 20 degrees Celsius while it was 13.7 degrees Celsius minimum temperature and 24.9 degree Celsius maximum temperature in Purnea.
 

The state weather office has forecast no change in temperature in Patna tomorrow which would stay at 12 degrees Celsius as minimum temperature.

With sunshine eluding during the day, citizens shivered in cold condition across the state.
