Uttarakhand Governor K K Paul today released a book narrating the state's journey since its creation 15 years ago.
Uttarakhand: Fifteen Years of Development, edited by former chief secretary R S Tolia, takes stock of the state's achievements and shortcomings in the area of development since 2000.
Paul said the book will be an important reference source for policy makers, administrators, academics.

"It is appropriate that at the end of 15 years of the state's existence, an attempt has been made to assess its achievements and shortcomings in the area of development," he said
A collective effort of experts from the field of administration, science and social research, the book has articles based on people's personal experiences.
