Singer Paula Abdul said she would agree to return to "American Idol" as a mentor, but not as a judge.
The 54-year-old musician was a judge on the Fox talent competition from 2002 to 2009.
She said that while she wouldn't want to return to the show - which is set to be revived on ABC after Fox cancelled it in 2016 - as a judge, she would be happy to help mentor the kids, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"I don't think I'd do the judging thing anymore? But if they ever called me and they needed help or mentoring with kids, or anything like that. That's what I do, that's who I am," Abdul said.
