Pawar, also the Union Agriculture Minister, met Yuvraj at his residence in Gurgaon.
"Was great to meet mr n srinivasan yesterday and some inspiring words from mr sharad pawar today, and great support from mr badal in the news," Yuvraj wrote on his 'Twitter' page.
He also thanked his India team-mate Virender Sehwag, Englishman Kevin Pietersen and Sri Lankan Mahela Jayawardene for their goodwill messages.
"And lovely messages from the master blaster, kp, viru and mahela and of course all the love of the fans and the heros welcome by the media," tweeted Yuvraj.
