The Bihar government today said its revenue and land reforms department has made arrangements for timely payment for land acquisition.
The money for land acquisition would be paid to the people, whose land will be acquired, through RTGS, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh said.
The decision was taken at a meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, to review the various programmes and schemes of Revenue and Land Reforms and Urban Development and Housing Departments.

All the revenue maps relating to cadastral survey and revisional survey have been digitised by the Revenue and Land Reforms department, Singh said.
Drainage water would be used for irrigation after treatment.
It was also decided that MP and MLA funds would be used for repair or construction of major roads, the chief secretary said.
