Pb govt employee held for eve-teasing in Rajdhani train

An employee of the Punjab government was today arrested for allegedly teasing two women in a Rajdhani Express train while it was passing between Kanpur and Allahabad.

Gurpreet Singh (40), an employee in the education department of Punjab government, passed lewd comments at the two women in B-1 coach of the Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express train in an inebriated condition late last night, GRP Inspector Ratan Singh Yadav said.

When the train reached Mughalsarai railway station this morning, the accused was arrested on the complaint of both the women, who are from Kolkata and aged between 25-30 years, Yadav said.

An FIR has been registered against Singh under relevant sections of the IPC.
