Pb govt takes serious note of absentism, suspends 6 teachers

Taking a serious note of the absentism of the teachers in the examination centres, the Punjab Government today suspended six teachers for remaining absent from their examination duties without intimation.

While disclosing this here, Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka said no employee or teacher will be permitted to be absent without any prior permission from concerned authorities.

Strict action would be taken against all the erring employees, he said.
