Punjab Governor V P Singh Badnore today asked the youths to be sensitive towards human needs and address them in a sustainable manner.
"You are the future leaders, I urge you to develop sensitivity towards evolving human needs and address them in a sustainable manner," Badnore said at the 43rd convocation of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) here.
Congratulating graduates, researchers and award winners for their academic achievements, he said the youths must be grateful to their teachers and mentors for providing a conducive environment that has enabled them to come this far.
"I am sure attaining quality education from one of the most prestigious institutions accompanied by core values of self discipline, endurance, focus and humility, are the real determinants of your success in professional and personal life," he said.
As many as 666 degrees and 154 medals were conferred on students and scholars.
