Punjab government today launched a helpline to help people in seeking information pertaining to land records and property registration.
Punjab Revenue & Rehabilitation Minister Bikram Singh Majithia said the toll free helpline number, '1800-1800-168', would bring more efficiency and transparency in functioning of revenue department thereby providing all land and property related services in an efficacious manner.
The helpline number would help people seek information regarding land records and registration of deed. They can also get information about mutation, demarcation of land, among other things, Majithia added.
