Punjab Cricket Association today constituted a small group of officials to suggest the amendments to its Memorandum and Articles in the wake of Supreme Court's verdict on sweeping reforms in the BCCI.

The Executive Committee of PCA, which met at PCA stadium at Mohali today under the chairmanship of I S Bindra, was apprised of "the Supreme Court judgment in connection with the ongoing writ petition between Bihar Cricket Association and the BCCI."

"The judgment entails certain changes and reforms in the working of the Associations and with this object in view a small group was formed to suggest the amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of the Association (PCA) so as to implement them in stipulated in time frame," a PCA release said.

Bindra welcomed the members to the last Executive Committee for the current year. Thereafter, PCA Secretary General M P Pandove took up the agenda for discussions.

The Annual Report of the Association for 2015-2016 was approved and recommended to the General Body.

The executive committee authorised the office bearers to constitute various sub committees for successful conduct of international matches -- India Vs New Zealand (ODI D/N) and India vs England (Test match) -- slated to be held later this year.
