PCR gets hoax call about bomb in commissioner's office: Police

The police control room here received a hoax call about a bomb being planted inside the Delhi Police commissioner's office, the police said today.

The call was received on the intervening night of November 5 and 6 and the caller claimed that a bomb was planted inside the commissioner's office, they added.

A search of the office was carried out and the call was found to be a hoax, the police said.

The call was made from somewhere in outer Delhi. It is suspected that the caller was drunk and possibly belonged to a police personnel's family.
