Five police control room (PCR) vans were today pressed into service to improve security measures in and around this capital city.
These PCR vans would be available at specific points in Itanagar and Naharlagun round the clock to quickly respond to incidents of crime, official sources said.
Any member of public can call the PCR at toll free no. 100 and these PCR vans would respond to the call with speed and efficiency.
The network of PCR vans would be extended to other cities soon, the sources said.
