PCS (Judicial Branch) officers now to retire at 60

A member of the Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) or the Superior Judicial Services would retire on attaining the age of 60 years if the High Court is satisfied with his utility to the Judicial System, an official spokesman said here.

He said if the High Court is not satisfied with the Judicial Officer then he/she would retire at the age of 58 years.

He said the decision has came into effect from October 8.
