Kerala based People's Democratic Party of Abdul Nasser Madhani, jailed in connection with Bengaluru blast case, has called for a statewide dawn to dusk hartal on July 26 to protest the denial of bail to its leader by a Bengaluru court for attending the wedding of his son.
Madani had submitted the bail plea in order to attend the wedding of his son Umar Mukhthar to be held at Thalassery on August 9.
Siraj said that Madani had also sought bail to vist his ailing mother and also to attend the wedding of his son.

However, the court allowed bail from August 1 to August 7 to visit his mother and he would have to return without attending the wedding of his son.
PDP State Working Committee Chairman Poonthura Siraj said the party called for hartal to protest against this.
