Empty slogans by the PDP were its only achievement when it was in power; "self rule", "healing touch" and "peace with dignity" only remained slogans to befool the people of Jammu and Kashmir, said Slathia, Minister for Industries and Commerce.
"We caution people not to forget the dubious role the party leadership played by creating a regional divide by starting the Amarnath agitation during 2008," Salathia said.
PDP is negative brand of politics, he alleged.
He was addressing a public meeting at Suchaini in Vijaypur block after inaugurating some newly constructed development projects.
Referring to the cross LoC trade, he said it was the initiative of the Centre, which was being falsely claimed by the PDP leadership as its achievement.
The NC leader said Omar-led government has taken series of initiatives to develop the state on modern lines.
"Transfer of power from the corridor of the secretariat to the grass root representatives of the people, implementation of RTI Act, Public Services Guarantee Act for timely delivery of services, constitution of State Vigilance Commission and revival of Accountability Commission was landmark achievements of the present coalition government to enforce transparency in governance," Slathia said.
