Opposition Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti today accused the ruling National Conference of developing vested interest in instability of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The NC has a vested interest in instability of the state as has been established time and again. The PDP, on the other hand, has a track record of bringing in stability.
"It is the only party qualified to do so through a progressive and well-defined agenda," Mehbooba told roadside poll meetings in Anantnag district.

She said they have to make a choice whether they want the state to live in perpetual instability or want to give themselves a chance for growth and harnessing of their potential.
The PDP head accused the NC of pursuing an anti-youth agenda by denying the young population of Kashmir a democratic space, curbing their voices and not doing anything substantial to make their future better.
