Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti today nominated Anjum Fazili (MLA) as incharge of the party's women's wing for Kashmir province.
Mehbooba, while nominating her for the party post, has hoped that she will make the role of women in politics effective and ensure greater participation in accomplishing the visionary agenda of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the state, a party spokesman said.
He said that she has also directed all district and zonal presidents of the party to nominate two representatives to district and zone committees in the state from among women and youth.
