Opposition People's Democratic Party today said it will revoke all cases against the youth booked for stone-pelting during the last six years, if it is voted to form the new government in Jammu and Kashmir.

"If voted to form the government, we will revoke all cases against the youth booked under stone-pelting by the Omar Abdullah Government," PDP youth-wing president Waheed urRehman Parra said while interacting with youths of Shopian district.

Parra said time has come for the youth to fully assert themselves by becoming an active part of the system of governance.

The PDP provides a platform to all those people who want to become part of the party's story to see the state out of present uncertainty, underdevelopment and economic backwardness, he said.

"The PDP will give priority to the youth and will leave no stone unturned for creating avenues for their dignified livelihood," Parra said.
