Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today sought intervention of Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra to include 182 new administrative units in the list of units approved by Omar Abdullah Government.

Led by PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, legislators went to Raj Bhawan after staging a walkout from Assembly. They submitted a memorandum to the Governor through his officials in his absence today.

As per memorandum, PDP has demanded inclusion of 182 new administrative units in the list of units approved by Omar Abdullah Government.

"If the government has approved over 650 new administrative units in JK from over 200. What is problem in including these new units in the list to fulfil the wishes of people of left out areas," Mufti told reporters outside the Legislative Assembly here today.

"We are protesting for the last two days but nobody in the government is ready to listen us. There is no response from government," PDP president said.
