"Booking Nayeem for having raised slogans two years back by a government whose leading lights have been calling for plebiscite repeatedly is a cruel irony," PDP head Mehbooba Mufti told party workers at Homshalibugh in south Kashmir.
"Whether it is teenagers killed on the streets or primary class boys slapped with PSA, the NC government deals with everybody like they did with Nayeem Khan but keeps its own in-house separatists secure for misleading people during elections," she said.
A report in a local english daily today said the government has granted sanction to prosecute Khan in a case relating to 2011.
