The opposition People's Democratic Party today welcomed the meeting between Kashmiri separatists and Pakistan Premier's advisor Sartaj Aziz, saying the process should be carried forward in all its dimensions.
"The interaction between the Hurriyat leaders and the Pakistani government, initiated in New Delhi, is a welcome revival of the process initiated by the NDA government.
"It shall be carried forward in all its dimensions," PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti told a workers' convention at Kangan in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district.

"The involvement of opinion leaders from J and K in the dialogue process is inevitable for arriving at a lasting and just solution of the problem.
"All the stakeholders and schools of thought from the state have to be taken on board in the resolution process and the Hurriyat represents an important point of view," Mehbooba said.
"The criticism of the talks is misplaced as the process was started many years ago and the Hurriyat leaders have been meeting the top leadership of both India and Pakistan," the PDP leader said.
