Peace and harmony established in country with the efforts of

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das Monday said peace and harmony have been established in the country with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

On the 10th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes, Das paid tributes to the martyred jawans who laid their lives during the attack.

The chief minister said the day is to take a pledge to rid of terrorism from the country.

An official release quoting Das speech at "Banshidhar Mahastov" in Garhwa district during the day said that peace and harmony have been established in the country with the efforts by the prime minister and Home minister.

 

The chief minister at the mahastov handed over a notification which said that Garhwa districts Nagar Untari sub-division will now be known as Banshidhar Nagar sub- division.

The chief minister also released a special postal stamp on Bansidhar on the occasion of "Bansidhar Mahastov", it said.

Das also said that mahatsov will be given the status of "Rajakiya Mahastov".

Das said the identity of the country and its culture and is embedded with unity in diversity, adding that the prime minister is taking the country on the path of development through "saab ka saath, saab ka vikas mantra".
