Prices of peas rose up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following pick-up in demand from retailers against tight supplies from producing regions.
Marketmen said besides increased demand from retailers, restricted arrivals from producing regions led to the rise in prices of peas.
In the national capital, peas white and green were up by Rs 100 and Rs 50 to Rs 3,000-3,050 and Rs 2,950-3,100 per quintal, respectively.
