CPI-M Kerala unit Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today said a favourable climate for the Left front was prevailing across the state in the April 10 Lok Sabha polls as people were "angry" with the Congress-led governments both at the centre and in the state.

"People are angry with the Congress led UDF and the UPA government at the centre, for their anti-people policies," he told a meet-the-press at Kannur Press Club.

Congress had been isolated and this would be reflected in the election. There was no edge for the Congress in any of the states including Andhra Pradesh, where its was losing its hold, he claimed.

Corruption and anti-people policies were the achievements of the UPA Government at the Centre, he alleged.
