Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal today said the people have voted decisively for the BJP to transform the country.
"The people of India have voted decisively for the BJP to transform the country. A new India is emerging... And it is good for us that all the opposition parties are clamouring together to take on us," Goyal said at the India Today Conclave here.
He also said the saffron party is on wining streak (in the elections) because it is having a "decisive leadership."

Goyal made his remarks while participating in the conclave's session 'The Future of Politics' along with senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan.
Chavan, however, expressed his concerns over the way the BJP leadership was taking decisions and sought to know from Goyal why his party did not field a single Muslim candidate in all the five states.
Responding to it, Goyal said, "We as a party never see the caste or religion of the candidate."
"We don't consider them merely a vote bank, unlike your party. A person having the capacity to serve the society will be our candidate. It is unfortunate that the Congress is still living in the old world of divisive politics," alleged Goyal.
Replying to another query by Chavan, Goyal claimed that the holistic objectives of the demonetisation was "achieved "and since unaccounted money has now come into system, its far reaching effects would be seen in coming days.
