Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said people were not aware of the schemes of SP government and as a result those indulging in false propoganda claim the schemes to be theirs.
"Yesterday when I went to extend relief, I had an interaction with the family of a farmer. Some persons are getting farmer accidental insurance and others are getting relief for crop loss or ailment," Akhilesh said, while addressing May Day programme at his residence.
"Most of the people are unaware that these schemes are of SP government. It is the responsibility of our workers to propagate among the people. Otherwise those indulging in false propaganda can claim that these schemes were of their government," he added.
