Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav today alleged that the policies of BJP governments, both at the Centre and the state, had left the people harassed and they will give a befitting reply in the upcoming civic body elections in Uttar Pradesh.
"People are feeling extremely harassed due to the policies of the BJP governments both at the Centre and state...They will give a befitting reply to it through the results of the urban body elections," Yadav said in a statement.
People are unhappy because of atrocities on traders, students, youth and farmers under the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, he said.
The former chief minister said the infrastructure to develop villages and basic amenities established by the previous SP government was also damaged by the present government.
