Blending dance, music and theatre, a three-day festival beginning tomorrow would bring together international and local artists.
The Park's New Festival will showcase new and emerging work in the field of performing arts for the Indian audience, the organisers said.
Audiences will get to enjoy contemporary dance performance by UK-based dance company Avant Garde, observational humour of Azeem Banatwalla, a devised performance piece by actress cum performing artist Jyoti Dogra, a unique brew of music by Filter Coffee, an improvised performance based on the character of Madame K by K TWO dance group and an exhibition of moving image works by Claire Pencak.

In addition to the performances scheduled, the Avant Garde Dance Company will also conduct contemporary dance workshops across six cities, the organisers said.
Filter Coffee, an Indian ethnotronic collaborative project by percussionist Swarupa Ananth and flautist Shriram Sampath, will be coming up with a unique blend of Indian classical/folk, instruments and voices with electronic grooves.
After Kolkata, the festival will travel to five cities -- Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad Bangalore before concluding in Chennai on November 23.
