Puducherry Assembly Speaker V Sabapathy led the Union Territory to pay floral tributes at the statue of the founder of Dravidar Kazhagam and rationalist E V Ramasamy, popularly known as Periyar EVR on the occasion of his 137th birth anniversary today.
Welfare and Tourism Minister P.Rajavelu, legislators, delegates of various organisations and political parties were among those who paid homage at the statue.
