IT firm Persistent Systems today said that it has acquired Australia-based salesforce consulting firm PRM Cloud Solutions.
The company did not share the financial details of the deal but said the acquisition will strengthen Persistent's position in the salesforce community in Australia.
PRM focuses on healthcare, construction and property management, with key customers that include Honda, Rio Tinto, Furniture Options, Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), Synergy and Workpower.

Deshpande said the acquisition is a small one and they have got a team of around 12 people but it is in alignment with its platform strategy to lead its customer's journey to digital with salesforce as one of the important platforms.
"PRM has local expertise in building new digital experiences for organisations in Australia. Combined we have the global ability to scale, while strengthening Persistent's platform-centric approach to digital transformation with salesforce as one of the dominant platforms in Australia," Ashish Bhuta, head of sales Australia, Persistent Systems said.
