Persons named by Kunal Ghosh have no link with Saradha: Sudipta

The Saradha chairman alleged that Ghosh was taking names of some important persons only to stay in the limelight

Sudipta Sen, chairman of the bust Saradha Group that left thousands defrauded, today said that the persons named by its arrested media CEO Kunal Ghosh had no link with the company.

"The 14 persons whom Kunal has named are not at all involved with the Saradha Group," Sen told reporters at the district court complex here when asked about Ghosh, a suspended Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member, naming certain persons to the police in the Saradha scam.

"The 14 persons have never taken any favour from the Saradha Group as they are not involved with it," Sen claimed.

Ghosh was arrested for involvement in the scam by the Bidhan Nagar Police on November 23.

Sen who fled after his company wound up was arrested on April 23 from Sonmarg in Kashmir.
