J&K polls: Petrol bomb hurled at polling station in Baramulla

Barring this incident, polling in all 16 constituencies has been going on peacefully

A petrol bomb was today hurled by unidentified men at a polling station in Gulmarg constituency of Baramulla district, where polling is underway.

A petrol bomb was hurled at a booth in the early hours today. No casualties were reported in the incident, police said.

Barring this incident, polling in all 16 constituencies spread across Budgam, Pulwama and Baramulla districts of the state, was going on peacefully.

Security arrangements in the three districts have been strengthened in the wake of Friday's violence, where 21 persons, including 11 security personnel and eight militants, were killed in four incidents in the Valley.
