Petrol pump looted in broad daylight in Jhajjar

Three motorcycle-borne youths today looted Rs 25,000 in cash at gunpoint from a petrol bunk salesman on Rohtak road near Birdhana village here.

Police have started an investigation after a case was registered by salesman Surender Singh.

According to the complaint, Surender was sitting in the cabin when the trio came to the petrol pump this afternoon. As he came out to fill petrol in their bike, they looted Rs 25,000 from him at gunpoint and fled.

"The salesman was alone at the petrol pump when the loot took place. We are trying to ascertain the identity of the criminals... No Close Circuit Television (CCTV) camera was installed at the pump," said a police spokesman.
