Two persons were injured today after an petrol-tanker skidded off the road and fell into a gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district, police said.
The incident took place near Shabanbass area when they were on their way to Srinagar from Jammu, a police officer said.
The victims had a narrow escape as the tanker burst into flames after falling, he said.
The driver and the conductor have been hospitalised.
