Drug firm Pfizer today reported a multi-fold jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 61.64 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1.76 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Pfizer said in a filing to the BSE.
Standalone total income from operations of the company stood at Rs 512.11 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 480.54 crore for the same period previous year.

The increase in the profit is due to an outgo of Rs 76.03 crore under exceptional items in the year-ago quarter.
Pfizer shares today closed 0.93 per cent down, at Rs 2,438.55 per scrip on the BSE.
