A series of activities aimed at highlighting the work of Delhi Police was organised by Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) here.
Under the week-long programme, PFWS educated people about Delhi Police app which were depicted through flash mobs by family members of the police personnel.
"A powerful demo of self defence techniques and its use by all age groups was shown. Health checkup camps were also set up to create awareness among the families living in police colonies," a release said.
PFWS President Suchana Patnaik said there was a dire need to understand and appreciate the great work and technology which police force uses for the safety, security of society and a series of activities were planned during the Delhi Police week celebrations held last month.
