PG teachers union warns of stir against government

Tamil Nadu Post Graduate Teachers Union today warned of state wide agitation if the Government did not drop disciplinary actions against head masters and teachers in Kanyakumari district for not showing good results in the Plus two examinations.

Propaganda Secretary of the Union, Suresh told over phone that three head masters have been placed under suspension and disciplinary action under 17(a)and 17(B), including suspension of payment of salaries had been taken against 12 PG Teachers.

He claimed the pass percentage in the district was in fact 1.11 per cent more this year and that the Head master of a school who had been suspended, had in fact shown much better result this year.
